Hi I'm Jani and from the first moment I ever set foot in Montana I have dreamed of it.

I was born south of Yellowstone in Wyoming, but never lived there. I visited my grandparents every summer and fell in love with Yellowstone and the area but my true love came when I went to Montana to stay with my Uncle and Aunt who lived on a beautiful ranch north of Missoula.  Every summer after that was heaven.  I even got to stay one year and go to school, I can't tell you how my memories of that time have given me such pleasure.

My winters were spent in Texas, where my folks lived, but always my heart was in Montana.  I think it was in my blood, my soul, my being, for all my life I have dreamed of living there, yet, worried how I'd make a living, prevented me from going.

Now, years later, I have ways to do just that, writing and designing sites on the Internet, along with other things I feel we could do good in Montana.  My husband, who I first met because I heard him talking about Montana and the Rockies and Louie L'Amour, and our son Donny. Our goal is set...Montana by 2002!  Sooner would be better!

On Donny's his first visit to Montana, at age 2years, he would roll all over the grass, something you can't do in Texas, for Fire Ants. He giggled and rolled for hours......he loved it and didn't want to leave.    I want him to grow up in the place I have always loved. 

As a child with my folks, as an adult I moved alot due to work.....after my first husband died, it was Montana I went...my heart was broken and the only place that could mend it was my precious Montana. I stayed with my Uncle and Aunt until I had to return to Texas to make a living.  Been here ever since, making a living.  NOW I  want to go home to Montana.  I yearn for my beautiful Montana.

I want to open the door and know I'm there......look out my window and bask in the glory, I want to know that it's real, not just one of many pictures I have all over my home.
