Brian and Tammy 1999
1997: Brian and I were playing and singing John Denver's song "Country Roads" just recently....while we celebrated Bri's 25th birthday....we talked of John Denver and the awful loss. Brian and I had seen John in concert several years ago...it was one of our Mother Son outtings....and when we got ready to leave I had to use the restroom, Brian having explored the intire Balcony area showed me to one he had found way in the back, out of the way from the crowded ones out front...it was also next to an elevator which we decided to take to save time, however once in it we realized we were in a special elevator which only went one place...down to the back stage area....where the doors opened and there standing not 10 feet away was John Denver himself.....Brian wanted to move toward him and say hello, which he could have done, I on the other hand was awe struck and couldn't move, couldn't speak, couldn't anything. I just stood there I'm sure with my mouth hanging open looking quite like a cod fish until the elevator doors closed on their own and we moved back upward.....Brian was shocked I didn't have enough whatever it took to say hello and so was I but I was just absolutely surprised by what had happened and don't really know how it had happened but it had. Oh well....too late now....but we sing his songs and play his music and think kind loving thoughts of him still and always.
October 24, 2004 - Tammy and Brian are becoming parents, they are adopting a baby and that baby is due any day now!!  We are all excited.

I want to add some pictures of Tammy and Brian as they celebrate life, both now in their 30's, but just barely!

The midi I choose to honor this page is "Edelweiss" from the Sound Of Music...
It means strength and conviction no matter what, that's my oldest son and his wife,
for they endure no matter what is thrown their way.
I love and respect these two with all my heart, they are a constant source of learning for me.
