Happy Birthday October Faeries!!!

Hello all, in the USA we celebrate Halloween with costumes and lots of candy. This year our kids are using the theme of the Renaissance Period for there costumes. I've been busy making costumes for the kids. I love the renaissance period and we live near a site where they put on a great Renaissance Party through October and the first part of November Here's some of the costumes that we've made:
HELP WANTED More Writers for:....Margi aka Psyche is unable to continue writing for the legends and folklore and herbs columns, so if you think you'd like to take one of them, let me know.. ....Nana's Helpful Hints (things to make life easier, like used bounce sheets are good mosquito repellant and slipped through a belt loop will keep them from biting and you don't have to rub poison all over you or your kids) needs a writer. Also, I'd like to find someone to run the "craft corner" column (three easy crafts monthly). And anyone who would like highlighting faerie artists of any medium, the column called "Faerie Artists" needs someone to run it as well. So, if you think you'd like to have one or more of these monthly columns please contact Marafae and let her know Thank you!

The World of James Browne
Greetings Everyone,
Well, the summer has come to an end
and fall is upon us. I hope you all had an enjoyable and eventful
summer. I have been very busy with some new and exciting projects
and will certainly keep you informed in the near future.
However, I do have something to share
with right now. As you all know, I have had a very lucky streak spotting
the fae and wee folk in the past couple of years. But I had only dreamed
of the day when I would see or come in contact with my first dragon.
Well, that day has come! While I was vacationing in Germany this summer,
my wife & I were walking along the beach on the Baltic Sea when we came
across an egg. This was no ordinary egg and certainly was too big for
any bird or tortoise to have laid. Too curious to keep strolling along
the shore, we sat down beside it and waited. As dusk arrived we heard a
sudden CRACK!!! We will never forget what we saw that day.
As I usually do with all our
sittings, I have painted this creature for you all to see. By clicking
the link below you will see what was in that odd looking egg.
