Dear Members...I'm looking for writers who'd like to contribute articles monthly, they should be faerie related or of interest to our members....holistic info would be fine. Skye is not going to write do to personal reasons, so anyone wishing to write on crystals, aromatherapy, herbs, highlight a faerie artist, share recipes, or a faerie type of subject.....please let me know.....articles need to be sent to me by the 20th of the month in order to get into the following months newzletter.

It's been a while since I last wrote. I've been working on some pretty exciting projects lately.

I will keep you posted on them in the near future. I do have something to share with you in the meantime.

As most of you already know, the weather has been quite odd this year. Springtime is near an end and sun has shown her face sparingly. Even the faery folk are having a hard time staying happy and getting work done. My wife and I had a little chat with Bumble Boy the other day while working in the garden. This little fellow is usually too buzzzzy to stand in one place, let alone have a chat. He went on to tell us that he is completely fed up with the rainy clouds above and if the sun doesn't show her face more often he would go elsewhere, possibly down south. Apparently he is a little behind in his honey inventory.

I painted this little guy last year but after running into him again this year I just had to share him with you. "Bumble Boy" is now available and FREE with any purchase of $35 or more.

Bright blessings my dear Friends...
I'm so excited that you've decided to visit me once again in my home, my world - Skye View. You will see my home is filled with a blend of potpourri of positive energies or better known as “L O V E”.

Each month, I hope to bring you things that will help you open up to a more
positive state, fight off negative energies, enhance your creativity and help
create a richer life full of love, comfort, balance, harmony and peace.

July was originally named Quintiles after the fifth month of the Roman civil
year which began on March 1st. It was later named after Julius Caesar then
becoming our seventh month. July has always had 31 days.

In the Northern Hemisphere watch for the full moon on July 13th with the new
moon on July 29th. In the Southern Hemisphere, the full moon will begin on
July 14th with a new moon July 29th.

My word for you this month is Peace. One of the meanings of peace (according to the dictionary) is freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions. In almost every part of this beautiful world we find turbulent times and unbalances. We have a tendency to blame it on our governments or other countries, never taking any responsibilities at all for this lack of peace. Now, don't get me wrong, we can't control others but we can remember that peace begins in our hearts and in our homes first. We can't expect peace unless we believe in it and practice it ourselves everyday. Begin with peace in your heart by respecting your family, friends, neighbors, coworkers and others you haven't even met yet. Show compassion and understanding. Give others the gift of love. Go into this month of July doing your part. If we all walk towards peace, we can't possibly fail can we?

The herb of the month I've selected is Rosemary. It is an herb from the mint family. It is a perennial growing 2 to 6 feet tall in full sun. It has needle-like leaves that are gray-green in color and the flowers are clusters that are small either in pale blue or pink. It is a wonderful addition to marinades, especially when used with chicken, giving your meat a peppy flavor.


The crystal for July is ruby. This is considered the "Stone of Nobility".
Having a ruby helps gather and amplifies your energy as well as enhancing your creativity. It helps to discourages violence and is considered a shielding stone for the wearer. It promotes success and retains wealth. Keeping a ruby near your bed is said to protect one against nightmares. The ruby also purifies and corrects trapped energies and release blockages.


Larkspur is the traditional flower for July. The white larkspur means joyful and happy-go-lucky, the pink larkspur stands for fickleness and the purple larkspur means sweet disposition. Larkspurs are members of the Delphinium family, very easy to grow with rapid growth. There are many varieties ranging in height from one to seven feet. You can plant your larkspur in full sun or partial shade. They do well in average soils and in cool weather. The soil needs to be kept moist to feed their quick growth.






The scent for the month of July, that I picked, is Gardenia. It has a wonderful southern floral aroma and is used for love, healing and spirituality.

Talking To Fairies

At first glance, I thought this was a cute little children's book on communicating with faeries-but it is actually a miniature encyclopedia on faerie lore and information!!! It begins with a message from the fairies and then goes on to describe ways to become acquainted with faeries including how to react to them, work with them, talk with them, and how to deal with disbelievers. There is a wonderful section detailing where you can find their homes, and how to create a garden just for them. The connection between fairies and animals is discussed, and of course, we are warned about bad faeries!!! A brief but informative history of the faerie tale as well as the faerie is given. It all wraps up with "frequently asked questions about faeries". This is a serious book, for adults, which they can share with children. Much detailed information is given in this tiny tome!!! The only thing I found it to lack is pictures!!!

I have found it to be currently unavailable and out of print, but perhaps can be found in used bookstores.

It is indeed a wonderful addition to any faerie collection!!!

Oracle Cards:

THE FAERIES ORACLE by Brian Froud. It is called a divination deck; a way of communicating with and learning from the faeries. The deck consists of 65 cards and each one provides a message from the fae in response to a question you have asked or if you are trying to discover more about yourself, your life, and your relationships. A card may turn up reversed in a reading, which may indicate a blockage or delay in the message to be received. A reading can be a simple one card spread or a series of cards. the book that comes with the deck explains all this.

This month we will review card number 4-HE OF THE FIERY SWORD.

It indicates The Active Principle, spiritual will, justice and fierce will. It is the faerie aid we call upon when we have a very difficult task that will require all or most all of us, in determination and motivation. When this card arises, it indicates that a situation involving clear and focused will and determination to see a project through is at hand. It may also be saying that such will is required to get through a situation, or such will is at hand. The reader must determine in which way the force is present in his life, and how best to use it. It indicates potential for great good and a readiness to take action.

REVERSED simply indicates the great will is being blocked or suppressed, though it is always present. The reader must determine and remove the blockage so this great force can flow freely.

This card is the masculine counterpart to SHE OF THE FIERY SWORD which will be reviewed next month. Until then I wish you a prosperous present!!!
