| At 0115 PM 7/27/99 , QUESTION hi jani, I'm interested in the international faerie believers, but have found only the one page introducing it. yes, I know it's secret, but if I, who am the faerie believer of all time and make faerie pottery as a business, am not getting around to picking up and mailing an international money order, then I think that a lot of people wouldn't bother also. so what I'm suggesting is maybe a little more information and tidbits, examples of what's on sale, something more to entice me and make me sure it's worthwhile? just a thought. good luck sincerely, ju |
| Dear JU, I first got the idea for the club, because I had so many people visit my site and I'd get up to 50 Emails daily with questions of every type...questions such as did I know an artist, or someone who sculptures, or they want a tattoo, could I recommend one. Some sent me stories and myths and names and books and will it went on and on and I realized there was a true need for a group to share info with a bulletin etc. I talked it over with some of the people who wrote me regularly and they thought a club would be great, also we had a great site on gnomes which was also getting attention so we started two clubs, not to make money, but to help us pay for a domain, and site charges. (you see the free sites only allow a certain number of persons to visit, plus limit your space, so we got one that cost us right at $80 for our site every three months. Then there's the postage for prizes.
BULLETIN ........some of the bulletin messages are hilarious....one member has gone to Ireland and she left word that if she wasn't back in 2 weeks the wee folk grabbed her. Now I know that isn't the joke of the week but it was funny...and I know we all had a good laugh over it. The people joining are fun loving, talented and good spirited and amazing enough of all ages! Well, that in itself has made the club worth joining....I hope this has helped you entice you a bit! Sincerely, Jani aka Marafae |
