| Hey,
I love your site! I was looking at some of the pictures and I wrote a
poem. I noticed you have poems on your site, and I just felt like
sharing. ENJOY!!! (It's called come ye believers, I thought you'd like
it.)
Come ye believers I’ll spin you a tale Flaxy moons and starlight nights When fairies caressed The world with gentle light When I
was a young child, I did believe The stories of gnomes, elves and fairies I took for true indeed And afternoons when the sun cast was gold and shallow I looked for fairies down by the grassy creek hallow. And the grass by the creek, mushrooms did yield And fairy rings dotted the field. And on nights when the harvests moon Cast its eerie glow Yes I did walk down and I’d wait for the show And fairies and elves and goblins and gnomes Would come from their secret lands and play by the creek stones. I was a friend to the fairies A teacher to elves
I helped goblins pick cherries Ah yes the days when to the believers they’d yield They’d shed their secrets and throw down their shields But today few believers remain And the forests and creeks are once again tamed All but a few Which sit up at the bewitching hour And watch
the magic and the fairy dust shower. So listen my children, and keep your beliefs For to a fairy, your innocence is a relief It isn’t by magic that they stay alive But by being seen with a believer’s eyes
Thanks for listening! Bye! Lesley Images on this page by: Ronald Carey, Leprechaun Movie, Rien Poortvliet and etc.
