A story from Billy Gigglewick G134...

Hi everybody out there in the land of magic.
Billy Gigglewick G134, and chief of the Nut Gnomes, Prince Omi did in fact make it to Antartica but changed their minds about staying in Brian's house at Stanley in  the Falklands.
After three days they  had to leave because they had to touch down at Macquarie Island because of a punch- up between some king penguins and fairy penguins.
How could giants, like the king penguins bully the little fairy pens?
Well the krill was in short supply and everybody was hungry.
So, things got out of hand.

But that great peace-maker, Prince Omi of the Nut gnomes quickly had everybody laughing as he and Billy Gigglewick rode on the back of a big leopard seal.
Omi and Gigglewick walked around the island checking on the bird sanctuaries.

Then it was on to Antarctica to finish their holidays. Tasmanian gnomes are pretty lucky because they fly around the world oceans on the backs of the super albatross, the way these great magnificent birds skim the waves of the roaring forties, that circle the world, is magic.

If your gnomes want to check the atlas for Macquarie Is.it's   76 54 36S 158 55E.
Till next time which will be really newsy.

And the story continues....From Prince Omi to her Majesty QueenGnome.

Billy Gigglewick and I would be most happy for you to tell our fellow gnomes about our visit to the bottom of the world.  It's big, white, gorgeous and full of adventure with the cleanest air in the world.  A goblet full will make you sing like you've never sung before.

Billy Gigglewick is composing a melody or two to play at the midsummer dance (which is Dec. 21st
in the southern hemisphere).  Midsummer's Eve is the big night of the year for The Nut gnomes for this is when the Southern Cross Fairy comes down from the stars to dazzle everyone with her spiritual happiness.
Prince Omi, Billy Gigglewick and Raymond

Just look what gnome member Pitchounet G60 has been up to...

Pitchounet works with miniatures and this is one of her creations. Here is what she wrote,

...I finished my gnome kitchen room box. Must say I'm pretty proud. Hope you like it. [Awesome work Pitchounet!].  It took me many hours...just the stove took me 5 hours to carve in plaster. Every furniture is hand made, including the rug......5 hours to braid....the placemats,,,4 hours to cross-stitch. Do you recognize the characters you sold me? The coocoo clock is covered with pine shells.

Anyone wanting to know more contact Pitchounet by leaving a message on the gnome bulletin board.
