The Story of "Dwarphy"
Dwarphy's are tiny little male people and female people with the cute, sweet, kind faces, healthy red cheeks, lovely smiles and they wear soft, floppy hanging caps upon their heads and live in a secret place.   Once every 100 years, when the magical moonbeam sheds it's light on the "(Chestnut) Life-tree" a baby Dwarphy is born. Boys and girls are placed on earth one by one, taking turns, boy, girl, boy, girl, and so it goes, the Dwarphy's know of course, exactly when this special event will take place. During this most extraordinary night, the entire population of Dwarphy's gathers around the "Life-tree", staring with large eyes full and wonder and of anticipation. Full of hope and great expectation, they await the arrival of the baby Dwarphy. At the very moment the tree is bathed in bright moonlight, the nutpod-fruit falls upon the ground. To soften the fall, the Dwarphy's cover the ground at the base of the tree with a thick carpet of lovely moss and leaves.

As soon as the nutpod-fruit falls upon the carpet of moss, it cracks open. Then, a gentle, tender little face curiously peeks out of the shell. All of the Dwarphy's loudly cheer the arrival of a new Dwarphy child. And in joyous celebration, they happily sing this magical "Birthsong."

Dear moon, shine your light, shine your light on this lovely face. Fill the Lifetree with your magical powers and light up this place. Make the baby laugh, make it smile. This baby makes life worthwhile.

Grandfather Abraham, the oldest Dwarphy, gives the newborn child a name and hands the baby to the most recently married newlywed couple. If it is a girlbaby, they will care for her until her 99th birthday. For a boy baby however, the parents must care for him for another 100 years longer. When the Dwarphy male reaches the age of 199 years and a female is 99 years of age, they will enter into marriage.

The wedding day is a spectacular celebration. In the morning the bridegroom comes to take his bride to the ceremony, arriving to escort her away in the golden "Weddingmobile"  The bride is dressed in a special garment made from the finest rose petals and trimmed in daisies and baby's breath flowers. The bridegroom wears a costume made of the black poppy. The ceremony takes place in the "Forest House" . Grandfather Abraham is the one who conducts the ceremony.

After the wedding ceremony a reception is given. The "LoveCake" . is cut and a toast is raised in honor of the bridal couple a with specially made "wildchestnut champagne" After the reception the couple take the Weddingmobile and go on their honeymoon, at a location they choose for themselves. The most favorite place to go for almost all of the Dwarphy honeymoon couples is the "Dew Drop Valley"  , somewhere just south of the equator.

During the honeymoon trip of the newlywed Dwarphy couple, a house is built by the other Dwarphy's. The first 100 years of their marriage the Dwarphy couple lives in a huge red and white spotted mushroom, thereafter, they move to their "Woodland Home" . This is at last the permanent home for the Dwarphy family.

The following milestone in a Dwarphy male's life takes place on his 600th birthday. On this day the so called Hair-face Party  is celebrated. All the Dwarphy's are invited to this party. Grandfather bakes a special acorn cake in honor of this important day. The Dwarphy's just love it! They sing and dance the entire day. At the end of the day, just before the sun has set, the mustache becomes visible. After drinking the special "Birchnut-juice"  the mustache is complete, and quite handsome! These are the stories that have been made known to humanity.

I am certain that there are many more stories about many of the interesting, fun and exciting events in the life of the Dwarphy's. I am certainly looking forward to the day that a Dwarphy will tell a person about more of the Dwarphy secrets. Who knows, you may be just that very person who gets to hear the stories! Please let us know!
