Now for our lesson in Astrology,
I present Madam Gemini and her companion Poo
Poo consults Madam Gemini, whom she calls GiGi
Madam GiGi and Poo discuss
PISCES
(February 19-March 20)

GiGi: Hello Poo. Today I want to tell you about those born under the Pisces sign. This is the sign of the two Fishes.

Poo: And I know that the two fish are each traveling in opposite directions!

GiGi: Correct. Our new friend, Mossy the Fagle, is a Pisces. She is both a good student and a good teacher; opposites that learn from one another. Mossy radiates with confidence and displays both purpose and perseverance - traits of a true Pisces born.

Poo: What is the ruling planet for Pisces, Neptune?

GiGi: Although that seems to be the right answer Poo because of the fish; Jupiter is actually the ruling planet. Do you know that each planet influences a given day of the week?

Poo: No, I didn't GiGi. Can you tell me what days are influenced by what planets?

GiGi: I will write them down for you.
The Sun for Sunday
the Moon for Monday
Mars for Mardi/Tuesday
Mercury for Mercredi/Wednesday
Jupiter for Jeudi/Thursday (Roman God Thor)
Venus for Vendredi/Friday
Saturn for Saturday

Of course Poo, needless to say, those born under the Pisces sign are partial to the colours of the sea, especially green. And their birth stone would be none other than an aquamarine.

Poo can be seen in her full beauty at www.bobbiesfaeriehugs.com/Poo.htm

Ancient Gnome Language recently we were asked about the ancient form of pointed-cap-writing done by gnomes long ago and since been abandoned. It wasPointed Cap Writing.jpg (289823 bytes) referred to as the pointed cap writing an ancient "cuneiform" (Webster Dictionary Definition: composed of or written in wedge-shaped characters) language was derived. Attached is a picture showing a tree around which you will find 27 characters. The same number as you will find in the North American alphabet. I am not sure if you would convert these clockwise or counter-clockwise. Try and write something in pointed-cap-writing; have fun with this!

Book Reviews:  The Etude, Music Magazine

Book The Etude Sept 1917 Music.jpg (94773 bytes)

September 1917 "Get Busy" Issue. Includes music for Dance of the Gnomes, Woodland Musings, Dance of the Kewpies, and more. QueenGnome has purchased a copy of this very old magazine and if any one is interested in receiving any of the written music from it email QueenGnome@foundus.com.

Dance of the Gnomes: For his Gnomes, Respighi based his work on a poem by Claudio Clausetti. That poem described the luring in of a male gnome by two females in some sort of mad ritual, the passion of the evening, and the discarding of the now dead corpse in the first light of morning by the females witnessed by the male’s friends, and then an insane dance by the survivors.

If anyone knows of a source for obtaining this music to listen to, please let us know, so we can pass it along to our members.

Crystals and Gems

Greetings my friends! As most of you know my name is Professor Stone E. Mountain, but please call me Professor SEM.   Each month I am delighted to
bring you information of stones, crystals and gems from the gnome’s “Secret Book of Life”.

This month, the Gnome's month of "love," I am going to introduce you to Kunzite.  Look upon my podium, you will see a rare piece of Kunzite that has been in my family for centuries.  Kunzite is of medium hardness, meaning it can scratch or mar easily, therefore, carefulness is required when possessing one.

Poetry

Depression in Teens can be relieved by writing Poetry.  It allows the teen to express themselves.  However, you don't have to wait until depression hits to write poems.  Writing poems at anytime can be extremely healthy.  After 9/11 many persons wrote poems to express their grief, it helped them vent and then heal.  How wonderful that something so simple as writing poems can help you feel better.  Also reading other persons poems can touch you deeply and help you know you're not alone.

Gnome Health -

Gnomes, much like us humans, sometimes have trouble forgiving someone who has wronged them. The Secret Book teaches, "Try reflecting first on a time when you wronged another."

Holding a grudge can increase your stress levels and take a toll on your physiological health. However, letting go of hurt feelings can be hard, too. In a study, people were better able to adopt a forgiving attitude toward an offender when they first thought about an instance when they had mistreated someone.

On February 14 gnomes celebrate a day called, "You're nobody till you love somebody" but this year a Royal Proclamation has been issued to rename it "You're nobody till you forgive somebody."

I am the Gnome Enchantress of plant life. This month we learn about the plant:

Rosemary

Bright blessing my dear friends and welcome to my lecture.  This is an especially grand month as this is the month that we gnomes refer to as our month of “love.”  So to commemorate this special time, I decided to introduce you to the world of rosemary.  The herb referred to as “remembrance” and “fidelity.”

GNOME POEM

Awakening by Desdemona O.

Winter's cold grip is lightened, it's spirit bleakened raw
from bitter winds by not your touch, your smile, No... merely dreams of you
melt a blizzard of loneliness as a wondrous burst of spring's rays
dot my skies of grey, forget-me-nots unexpectedly bloom
and the frozen wasteland dissolves into a meadow of elfin gnomes
prancing upon leaves of green...The day's end ignites blue-hot passion,
reviving delicately brittle leaves of winter, filling love's orchard lush with life!

A ROYAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Royal Followers,
2003 is going to be the year of Inspiration.

I, QueenGnome, put on my thinking gnomal cap over the holidays (something like the sorting hat that is used at Harry Potters school, Hogwarts) and was gifted with lore about a unique, mysterious evolutionary occurrence.
FAIRY
ANGEL
GNOME
LEPRECHAUN
ELF
A Fagle is the result of major leaps in evolution. They are new beings, however without voices. Due to evolutionary dynamics they are able to communicate without uttering a sound!

You will meet some of my Fagle friends over the next year. Fagles have been rapidly reproducing and I know some of you are going to befriend one or two of your own in 2003.

Extremely gifted, Fagles currently reside in much the same environments as gnomes, but due to their intelligence and different transpositions are able to mingle with other realms including humankind.

Fagles possess fairy like beauty,
abiding serenity and infinite calm of angels,
bodies and wisdom of gnomes.
Their emerald green eyes twinkle with leprechaun playfulness and wit,
and have elfin hair that glistens like washed ocean sand.
All the result of major cosmos evolution.

Fagles are here to inspire each and every one of us to create something special in 2003.

Watch for the next chapter of Lil'Owl's Boubliwae Adventures wherein you will be introduced to an inspiring Fagle.

Respectfully yours, QueenGnome@foundus.com
