Wonderful site for Gnomes based on the Gnome Book www.foundus.com/gnomes

queengnome.jpg (25499 bytes)Hobbies & Crafts: I am thinking of starting a feature of gnome items to make. Please let me know if you want to learn a craft, or if you have craft knowledge that you would like to share with others. The picture contained in this email is a ceramic piece made from a "Doc Holliday" mold which I purchased. Check your local ceramic distributors for one and enjoy painting it! What a wonderful addition it would make to any collection or as a gift.    Sincerely,  Barbara aka QueenGnome@foundus.com

What a wondrous site!  (warning: long story ahead)  I had a small garden gnome statue in my garden before I moved into a townhouse.  My cousin Roy and his wife, Sarah, 'adopted' my statue and brought it with them back to North Carolina.  Sarah (who is a bit odd, I think it's because she's Canadian ;-) ) has been sending me cards from NC written by Ignatious Gnome.  She sends pictures of the gnome by the pool, by a tree, "fighting" with their Labrador Retriever.  (Ignatious swears that one day he's going to wack that beast with his axe.) Anyway, I was just wandering the web looking for gnome sites when I stumbled into yours.  Very informative - I never knew their were so many different kinds of gnomes! Keep up the fabulous work!
Nancy
