Wendy Kathleen

Wendy was born in Southern California in March of 1974. from a very young age, Wendy was drawn into the world of art. She began taking art classes in junior high and through-out high school.

During her university years, she refined and expanded her talents on her own. She chose not to major in art so that her passion would stay fresh and uncontrived (this site contains her earliest through her most recent works). Wendy did receive her B.A. in English and her M.A. in education from Pepperdine University.

Wendy's favorite medium is water-color, to which she adds her own personal, ethereal touch. She is using her past training and love of ice skating to bring the beauty of the sport onto canvas. "Skating and dancing for me was more than just an athletic venture, it was a form of artistic expression. I see art and soul through many things in this world, not all of which are expressed on canvas."
