In Memory of JoAnn Bovard

ABOUT JOANN

Joann was born September 20, 1945 to the parents of Eugene and Ethel Lenhart. She was the fouth of seven children, she was later adopted with her sister Betty to a loving family; Otis and Mildred Ramsey who had two biological children of their own Barbara and Otis (Butch) Ramsey both deft mute. Several years later she went on to start a family of her own. She married and had two children Ernie Jones in 1962 and Linda Jones in 1964. In 1973 she had her third child Angela Begly.

As her children grew and had families of their own she finally found her soul mate Daniel Bovard on June 30, 1985. They were introduced by Dan's sister Denise and brother-n-law AB Henson . When they met JoAnn already had three children and two grandchildren Ronald Ashley II and Randall Ashley. Dan had a pre-made family; he took them all in as if they were his own. That's what JoAnn loved most about Dan.

Within the first eight years together they had five more grandkids Jennifer Ashley, Matthew Jones, Kala Williams, Christopher Jones and Jalil Wilson. They were fortunate to have the opportunity to raise Kala for two years as their own.

In 1998 JoAnn retired from Fina Chemical and Oil Company in Dallas, TX and moved to Anderson, MO to relax. In 1999 they bought some land in Sulphur Springs, TX. Shortly after JoAnn began working for Wal-Mart in the photo lab, it was her home away from home.

In 2000 Dan and JoAnn went to New Orleans, LA to elope. In 2005 JoAnn reached a turning point in her life. She had a stroke that paralyzed her left side, but that didn't stop her. She was a strong woman with a caring husband and it didn't matter how sick she was they never gave up.

In 2006 they had a busy year. Dan was able to take JoAnn and Angela to Hawaii; they had a really great time. Also they were blessed with two great-grand son's Aiden Ashley and Ronald Ashley III (Pumpkin)

In 2007 two beautiful great-grand daughters were born Alanna Ashley and Dastasia Tinner (Tay).

In May 2008 JoAnn had a tough loss, her sister Betty passed away. They were more than just sister's they were best friends. In April 2009 JoAnn and Dan lost their youngest daughter Angela. Along with the losses she also gained another great grandbaby Alexis Tinner.

On April 26, 2009 JoAnn passed away and we all suffered a great loss.
