Christine Kloss is definately a name you'll want to remember. And that's going to be easy, because you're going to keep hearing this name and seeing her work, well into the new millennium! Now in 1999, her many years of hard work and determination have paid off. Her art work has appeared in several magazines, on Internet websites, galleries and retail stores.

Although she works in many mediums, including oils, pastels, charcoal and the computer, she prefers watercolors.

Moonbeam Dreams

This painting, entitled "Moonbeam Dreams," features a Faerie of the Night sitting within the crescent of the moon, creating Starlight and Dreams on Moonbeams. She is the Keeper of the Stars which children make wishes upon.

This is a "sketch" -- a study for a larger watercolor painting entitled "The Pearl of Wisdom," with the pearl representing the spirit, the essence of who you are. Like the pearl within the oyster, we are built upon layers and layers of life experiences, forming and shaping our lives.

Note from Christine Kloss:

"The Magic of Storytelling"

I strongly believe in the power of poetry and storytelling. Like the Mystic Seer behind the crystal ball, poets and Storytellers have the ability to conjure fantastic visions of the past, present and future. They are the Weavers of Dreams; alchemists with the magic touch, the talent to turn dust into gold. awaken.gif (11953 bytes)

The art of Storytelling is an ancient one, going as far back as the days of the cavemen, when our ancestors had newly discovered something calledwpe48.jpg (2731 bytes) "fire", and not quite sure what to do with it, someone in the group had a brilliant idea..."Hey, let's form a circle around it and tell stories!" It proved to be a spiritually beneficial practice, not to mention high entertainment. And so, a tradition was born.

To this day, the art of Storytelling is widely practiced and enjoyed throughout the world, inspiring yearly Storytelling gatherings in such beautiful outdoor locations as Colorado, and other year-round festivities. Some of the new technologies are being incorporated into this ancient art form, with entire website communities devoted to the continued practice of this tradition.

The importance and beauty of this tradition have inspired me to start a new section of my site - "The DreamWeavers Virtual Storytelling Circle."
